ABOUT THE ARTIST      I was born on the 6th of May 1982 at Rongtharve,Diphu Karbi Anglong,Assam,India.  In the year 1986 i joined Mount Calvary English High school,one of the top english school in Karbi Anglong.I passed my class ten and joined the Diphu Government college in the year 1999.From this college I passed my graduation in Bachelor of Arts(BA),in Geography Honours in 2004 AD. At a time when all my college mates were settled in their lifes,I boldly opted Fine Art and joined Kala-Bhavana (Institute of Fine Art and Crafts),Visva-Bharati University,Santiniketan,West-Bengal,India,for the course Bachelor of Fine Art(BFA) in the year 2004 and completed the 5 years course in sculpture specialization with first class in the mid 2009. I am presently pursuing Master of Fine Art (MFA)in Sculpture specialization perhaps,the first amongst the graduate Karbis to pursue the MFA course at Kala-Bhavana,Visva-Bharati University,Santiniketan,West-Bengal,India. I have also completed the 7th year course in Painting from Bangiya Sangeet Parishad,Kolkata,West-Bengal,India.Completed three years diploma course in oil painting from The British Institute of Engineering Technology(BIET),Mumbai,India.
